g_mu - 2 from lattice QCD
I present the current status of the phenomenology for the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon g_mu - 2 which presently constitute one of the most important tension between experiment and the Standard Model. This is followed by a brief introduction to lattice QCD and a discussion of my recent work on the computation of the leading order hadronic component of g_mu - 2 from first principles. I discuss several analysis strategies before presenting some preliminary results.
