Leptogenesis and neutrino parameters can have a common origin in the seesaw mechanism. However, this is not able to provide us with constraints and predictions on the values of the free parameters it necessarily introduces. To this aim, leptogenesis models, such as SO(10)-inspired and strong thermal leptogenesis, represent a very interesting way to explain and constrain the neutrino parameters. I will analyse how this can happen and show the obtained results which can be put to test by forthcoming experiments.
