There are direct rail links between Southampton and London (Waterloo), Birmingham, Manchester, Oxford and major cities in Scotland. The single journey between London and Southampton takes 1 1/2 hours. Check train connections at http://www.railtimetable.co.uk/bin/query.exe/en for more details.
Taxis are usually available from outside the station, otherwise, take bus number 101 from Southampton Airport (Parkway) or bus number 102 (103) from Southampton Central.
If you are coming by car you should contact us so we can arrange for a parking permit.
There are several places in the Staff Club (see campus map) where you can have lunch. There are also some pubs nearby, in Burgess Road and Highfield Lane.
